Memes
Meme stickers take the references that normally only work in the group chat and put them into the real world: on the laptop in the lecture hall, on the bottle at the gym, on the office door of the one colleague with a sense of humour. This is where we collect designs from the German internet – reactions, in-jokes and classics that anyone who spends too much time online recognises instantly, which is everyone. German meme stickers are the heart of the collection because they work without subtitles: Kleinen zeigen is the classifieds logo with one letter missing and a very different meaning, the Huso Reverse Card ends any argument, Juckt keinen (nobody cares) answers any drama, and Törken is the moment someone completely loses it – as a furious red smiley. Funny meme stickers in seal-of-approval style are the kind that live longest, because the brain recognises the seal first and the content second: the Certified Man of Honour as an inspection badge, the Testsieger Hurensohn with top marks, the Unemployed of the Month in a frame of honour, Bodyform Level 4 and the nutrition label for 90 % human, 10 % horse. Then the brand parodies where one letter changes and suddenly the truth is written down: Ghetto, Ikone, Fentanyl, Anti Keta Keta Club, Boycott. And the reactions that want to leave the chat: It's a Match, Walking Red Flag, Where's the Next Rave, Jesus Sees Everything, Hard Times, What the Cinnamon. Where each meme comes from and where it sticks best is in the magazine: German meme stickers: the 20 best-known designs. The rude kind – designs you don't explain to your family – is collected under Dark Humour, cartoons instead of internet under Cartoon Classics. Whoever looks for the best meme usually looks for the one that is alive in their chat right now – so the range grows with the internet, and it pays to check back often. Printed on weatherproof vinyl with a high-gloss UV coating, cut to shape with no white border, 7.4 cm at the longest edge at most – big enough for the punchline, small enough for a MacBook. Peels off without residue once the meme is dead; how to do that without scratches is in Stickering a laptop without regretting it later. Every meme sticker costs from 0.75 €, from 10 pieces it gets cheaper, and from 50 € we ship for free. Stick the meme while it is still alive.
